Marcy Playground - Leaving Wonderland...In A Fit Of Rage

Marcy Playground is finally back with something new! And I can tell you right now, if you're an MP fan, you will love this album. Stays true to their style. Listening to this album really brought me back to the "Opium" days where they weren't afraid to use a slow dark and melodic sound mixed with macabre lyrics. Like in the song "Gin and Money", you listen to it once, move on, and anywhere from an hour to a day later you're singing it to yourself, then feel you have to listen to that song again. It's infectious. Other songs like "I Must Have Been Dreaming" and "Down The Drain" stick to the main theme of the album with a down to earth yet upbeat feel to it. One of my personal favorites however is "Good Times" which, is an all around great song to stroll and jive to.

Give this album a chance when you get. I highly suggest it.
