Common Minecraft client errors
Failed to login: Bad login
This error commonly occurs when you close the MC client by clicking the X button in the top right of the window. If you try to log back in right away, you will see this error. It clears up after a few minutes.
Failed to login: end of stream
- This can occur when you try to log in too quickly between attempts. Wait 15 seconds and try it again.
- This can often be fixed by closing the Minecraft client, waiting a minute or so then trying again.
Connection Refused: connect
This may be happening for these main reasons:
- minecraft.net is down or unstable
- The server is down
- You entered the incorrect server hostname or port
Failed to connect to the server: connection refused
The game server may be offline, and will need to wait till it's brought back online.
Internal excetion: Read timed out
The game server may be locked up. Contact an OP/admin to look at the issue.
Connection lost
This means that Minecraft.net's login server is down. You won't be able to log onto multiplayer until they bring the server back up again.
Errors Generated by Plugins on Our Servers
Server is full
This error results because the server is currently full. You'll need to try again later.
Login Throttling Active
This notice occurs when too many people are trying to log in at once or you're spamming the log in button. It is especially common for a few minutes after a server reset, when many players are attempting to log back in.
