Upon the recent discovery that R2-D2 made a cameo in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek, it seems that directors everywhere have jumped on the bandwagon.  New Moon director, Chris Weitz, confirmed that the blurry figure in the window during a shot in the recently released trailer is, in fact R2-D2.  The shot in question revealed the little droid watching on as Taylor Lautner’s character in the film, Jacob Black attempts to rescue Bella Swan.
